ABOUT ME

I am Tanja Palmunen, a freelance photographer and graphic designer originally from Helsinki, Finland. In August 2023, my husband and I left Finland behind to travel around France for the next few years. I´ll share this experience in my blog.

My husband has a stable remote job in Finland, while I have my own photography and graphic design company, which allows us to live a digital nomad life.

My goal in this journey is to make my business work remotely, to fulfill myself artistically and have fun!

MY PROJECTS

Abandoned Nordic is an art project started in 2015. This project combines enchanting photography with haunting micro-stories in order to create a harsh, but intriguing vision of urban wilderness. In this project, we have visited over 1000 abandoned places around Europe. You can follow our adventures on Instagram.

With this project, we've made several trips to France. This country lured us with its rich culture, stunning architecture, lush nature, breathtaking scenery, and endless artistic inspiration. Now that we live here, it is all closer. Our adventure is not just about changing places; it's about having new experiences, learning, and embracing life to the fullest.
